Next page, Strip and Feft have been roughly thrown by their captures into metal cages, all stacked in a row within a warehouse filled with a yellow light. Confused and upset, they turn only to find a huge bear trapped within a cage next to them. Soon enough, one of the hunters walks down the rows of cages with a ring of three keys dangling from his belt loop. Using his long tail and quick reflexes, Strip slips the ring off of the hunter and uses it to unlock both his and Feft's cages. Before running off, the two stop to examine the cage next to their's, gears turning as plans formed in their minds.
Same structure as the last two with lines and coloring, but I kind of dropped the ball on backgrounds this time. This one was taking forever. I'll try to be a bit more thorough with my next one, and maybe with a few less panels so that the process goes faster. I've found several amateur comics made online (highly recommend checking out "Monsterkind" and "Paranatural"), and have been using them as reference for how to improve my pages. On to the next one!
Edit: I had extra time, as it turns out, so I redid the colors on this page. The colors of brown and yellow looked plain awful, and made their bear friend hard to see. This feels much better for portraying atmosphere and tone in the whole piece. I'm going to redo the colors on the next page, as well.
